Requiremnets for autherized Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure® teachers:
To become a Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure® Trademark Licensee & be authorized to teach the Basic Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure®class:
1. Required classes:
• Module I; Module II, pt. 1-2; Module IV, pt. 1-2;
• Intensive Teacher Training Program with Iona;
2. Required status with the Jin Shin Do® Foundation:
• Registered Jin Shin Do® Acupressurist;
3. Required experience:
• Total of 300 logged experience hours;
• Assisting 2 Basic JSD classes with an authorized JSD teacher (or 1 plus videotapes: see JSD Product Catalog);
4. Required examination:
• Practical exam with Iona
5. Required paper:
• 7-page paper verifying theoretical understanding & including 3 case stories.
Additional requirements to be authorized to teach the entire Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure® program:
To teach Intermediate Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure®:
• Total of 600 experience hours and 2 yr. JSD practice;
• 2 Basic JSD classes taught;
• 2 Intermediate JSD classes assisted (or 1 plus videotapes).
• Practical exam by an Intermediate JSD teacher.
To teach AdvancedJin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure® and Module II:
• 2 Intermediate JSD classes taught.
• Assist 2 advanced JSD classes (or 1 plus videotapes).
• Special project, and practical examinations with Iona.
• Module IV and Master Class with Iona
