It is with great sadness that we announce Angela's passing. As our office manager for over 20 years, Angela served as the AOBTA® community's consistent presence and foundation.
Beneath the ever-changing roster of volunteers and activities, Angela was there holding the center. She had a great affection for AOBTA® and its members. We will miss her deeply.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Angela's family. We wish to provide what support we can in honor of her service to our community and in appreciation for the sweet soul we had the pleasure of knowing.
A few weeks ago, we set up a fund-raising site as a way for our community to provide Angela and her family with meaningful support. Cancer treatment has the side-effect of significant financial debt. We know that this debt was a burden on Angela's mind during these past few months.
Donations made on this site will go to Angela's family to help ease this burden. To date, we have raised $6,500 our our $10,000 goal. Also, please feel free to post a comment on both her memorial site and the donation site.
Dear friends of my wonderful wife,
Words cannot express how grateful we are for the financial assistance afforded us by your generosity. I really can’t say enough about her friends at AOBTA®.
From our family to all of you, a heartfelt thank you!
